Howard Dayton

Howard Dayton (actually Harold Gelbstein ; born August 18, 1927 in Atlantic City , New Jersey ; † May 31, 2009 in West Hollywood , Los Angeles , California ) was an American actor .

Life

Dayton's career began in the mid-1950s after studying in New York City . He shared an apartment there with Warren Oates and reports in his biography of numerous drinking parties. In 1957 he went to Hollywood. Initially, he was booked for some television series, soon after the character actor was also cast in several films. He played his last role in 1990 in the feature film Double Revenge .
