Hryhorij Loboda ( Ukrainian Григорій Лобода ; * April 1557 , Kiev Voivodeship ; † May 1596 Solonyzja bei Lubny ) was between 1593 and 1596 (with interruptions) the hetman of the registered Cossacks in Ukraine .

Between 1593 and 1595 he took part in campaigns of the Cossacks against the Ottoman fortress Orhei in Moldova , together with Seweryn Nalywajko as an ally of Rudolf II in the Long Turkish War.

During the Nalywajko uprising of 1596, he allied himself with Nalywajko and occupied and controlled the Kiev Voivodeship and southern Belarus with his 10,000-strong army .

He took part in the Battle of Solonyzja near Lubny in April 1596 and was murdered by followers of Nalywajko after he was suspected of having negotiated with the Poles under Stanisław Żółkiewski .
