Huacuyo is a scattered settlement in the La Paz department in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .

Location in the vicinity

Huacuyo is the fourth largest settlement in the canton of Huacullani in the municipality of Tiahuanacu in the province of Ingavi . The village is located with its center at an altitude of 3838  m two kilometers away from the southern shore of Lake Titicaca and only a few kilometers from Tiahuanaco , the internationally known world cultural heritage - ruins from the pre-Inca culture .

Huacuyo is located on the Bolivian Altiplano between the Andean mountain ranges of the Cordillera Occidental in the west and the Cordillera Central in the east.
