Hubertus Primus
Hubertus Primus (born September 1, 1955 in Gersfeld ) is a German lawyer , journalist and manager . Since January 2nd, 2012 he has been the sole director of Stiftung Warentest in Berlin .
Life
Hubertus Primus was born as the son of the long-standing mayor of Gersfeld, Hans-Georg Primus. After completing his training as a fully qualified lawyer , Hubertus Primus worked for the legal magazine for the economy , as a freelance journalist with a focus on law and taxes and as an author for the industrial magazine and the Süddeutsche Zeitung . This was followed by a position as editor of the magazine Finanztest , of which he was promoted to editor-in-chief in 1993. From 1999 to the end of 2011, Primus was the successor to Hans-Dieter Lösenbeck, editor-in-chief of test magazine and a member of the management team as head of publications at Stiftung Warentest. From 2012 he became the sole director of the Stiftung Warentest successor to Werner Brinkmann . The editor-in-chief was taken over by Anita Stocker .

Hubertus Primus was a member of the jury for the Helmut Schmidt Journalist Award until the end of 2011 and was replaced in 2012 by the then editor-in-chief of Finanztest magazine , Hermann-Josef Tenhagen .
Since 2012 he has represented Germany on the board of directors of the international consumer organization International Consumer Research & Testing in London .
On November 14, 2012, Primus was elected to the board of directors of the German Consumer Association.
Hubertus Primus is a member of the Board of Trustees of the German Consumer Protection Foundation .
He is also the chairman of the jury for the youth tests competition organized by Stiftung Warentest.
He is married to the veterinarian Susanne Primus and has four children. He is active on the board of the registered association Zehlendorfer Wespen for marketing and public relations .
Primus is a member of the White List Board of Trustees .
