Hugo-Josef Simecek (born June 16, 1904 in Vienna , † July 13, 1965 in Rheinhausen ) was a German local politician and district administrator ( SPD ).

Life and work

After attending school, he studied at the University of Vienna. After the state examination he worked as a journalist in Vienna and Berlin until he was banned from practicing his profession in 1933 . From 1945 he worked for the Neue Ruhr Zeitung . From 1955 to 1964 he was the full-time managing director of the SPD sub-district of Moers .

He was married and had two children.

He was a member of the district assembly of the former district of Moers from October 13, 1946 to September 26, 1964. From 1956 to 1965 Simecek was a member of the city ​​council of Rheinhausen .
