Hugo Fuchs is a former German ski jumper who started for the GDR .

Fuchs made his international debut on December 29, 1956 in the opening competition of the Four Hills Tournament 1956/57 in Oberstdorf . At the Four Hills Tournament in 1957/58 he was able to jump into the top twenty for the first time and after a tenth place in Partenkirchen and an eleventh place in Innsbruck as well as a 22nd place in Oberstdorf and 19th place in Bischofshofen at the end of the 11th place Tour overall ranking. In Lahti he reached the same year at the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1958, tied with the Swede Holger Karlsson, 51st place. At the Four Hills Tournament in 1958/59 he was unable to build on the success of the previous year and achieved his best placement with 18th place in Oberstdorf. In the end, he was 33rd overall.
