Hugo Kroemer
Hugo Alfred Kroemer (born January 18, 1888 in Zwickau , Saxony , † January 20, 1971 in Graz ) was a German - Austrian pianist .
Life
In 1912 Hugo Kroemer was appointed from the Conservatory in Gdansk to the Graz Musikverein School, where the concert violinist Karl Krehahn also taught from the school year 1893/94 .
His students included the composer and pianist Grete von Zieritz , the composer and pianist Alarich Wallner , the pianist Edda König and the composer Karl Haidmayer .
He founded in 1911 and led the Kroemertrio in various compositions at concerts until 1937. He was president and honorary member of the Styrian Tonkünstlerbund . In 1961 he received the Music Prize of the State of Styria .
