Hugo Senfft from Pilsach
Wilhelm Hugo Senfft von Pilsach (born April 29, 1821 in Dresden , † June 27, 1903 in Gönnsdorf ) was a Saxon general of the cavalry .
Life
He comes from the first noble family Senfft von Pilsach and is the second eldest son of Lieutenant General Gustav Senfft von Pilsach (1790–1867) and Countess Henriette von der Schulenburg (1790–1854). He married Auguste von Helldorff in Nossen in 1852 , with whom he lived in Gönnsdorf, which is now a part of Dresden. This marriage resulted in four children, including Major General Maximilian Senfft von Pilsach (1854–1931).
He was general of the cavalry à la suite of the 2nd Queen Hussar Regiment No. 19 in the Saxon state capital. Senfft von Pilsach died in Gönnsdorf in 1903 and was buried in the Weißig cemetery in Dresden.
