Hugo Videmont (born February 19, 1993 in Marseille ) is a French football player .

Career

Videmont was accepted into the youth division of the professional club Clermont Foot at the age of nine . The player, who is used in both attacking midfield and wing positions , remained loyal to the Auvergne club throughout his youth and was on the field for the first time in August 2010 for the fifth-class second team. On the last day of the 2011/12 season he was considered by coach Michel Der Zakarian for the first time for the second division team. For this he made his professional debut at the age of 19 when he came on for Romain Alessandrini in the 84th minute in the 2-0 home win against Stade Laval . In the following season he was occasionally considered for further games and again reached a milestone in his career in the last encounter of the period when he was in the starting XI for the first time in a 1-1 draw against Chamois Niort on May 24, 2013 and over the a full 90 minutes. A few days later he signed his first professional contract with Clermont and became an integral part of the team.

During the 2013/14 season he was on the field for most of the games and did not miss a game from the 14th to the final 38th match day. However, he was not an undisputed part of the starting line-up, but had to be content with a role as a supplementary player. In early February 2015, he left Clermont to join league rivals AC Ajaccio . He was regularly called up for this and was able to avert his fall into the third division with his teammates at the end of the 2014/15 season. In February 2017 he moved to the Polish first division club Wisła Krakau .
