Humfred (Apulia)

Humfred von Hauteville († 1057 ) was Count of Apulia from August 1051 to 1057. Humfred was the third son of Tankred von Hauteville and Muriella (daughter of Duke Richard of Normandy ) and brother of Wilhelm Eisenarm and Drogo .

Life

In 1043 he fought alongside his brothers Wilhelm and Drogo for the conquest of southern Italy. After Wilhelm's death in 1046, he supported Drogo's candidacy as Count of Apulia.
