The Hutto Peak is a 1620 m high and pointed mountain in the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . In the Heritage Range of the Ellsworth Mountains, it rises below the Founders Escarpment from a ridge that separates the upper sections of the Gowan and Splettstoesser glaciers .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own surveys and using aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1961 and 1966. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1966 after Gray Hollis Hutto (1932-1997), participant in two campaigns of the Operation Deep Freeze between 1964 and 1966.
