IFF is a rock band from Munich . Founders in 2002 were the musicians Dieter Sablic and Markus Reiser, both of whom had previously worked for Heinrich Beats the Drum .

The band name is not an abbreviation, has no meaning and was chosen because of its brevity.

style

The band, which originally called their style "Modern Heavy Rock", plays songs that could be assigned to different genres, for example between metal, hard rock and elements from the 1990s crossover. IFF has been playing in their mother tongue for several years and now and then comes close to the New German Hardness style . IFF is close friends with Alexander Wesselsky and has appeared as the opening act for Eisbrecher .

Further projects of the band members

Markus Reiser also has his solo project “M-arcanus”. As “MarcIT” he is a founding member of “D-JAM-BE”. The bassist Rosenbaum previously played in "Dead Men Walking", "Caedes", "Steam'n'Heat", "Mindcrime" and other bands. Ted Schneider aka "TED" played as a drummer at times in " Megaherz ", "Bad Hoven" and "XANDA".
