IJK Software was a British computer game development studio and distribution in Blackpool founded in 1982 by John S. Sinclair, his uncle Ian and his father Keith; the company name is made up of the initials of the first names; the logo uses these initials, which are surmounted by the three Ss of the surname (i.e. Sinclair).

The company was initially located at 9 King Street before moving to the larger unit 3C at Moorfields, Moor Park Avenue, Bispham, Blackpool, Lancs2 following the huge success of Xenon 1 , which sold around 120,000 units.

The company first released game software for the BBC Micro , then specialized in the Oric platform before opening to the Commodore 64 and eventually the Amstrad CPC and ZX Spectrum . IJK Software published computer games between 1982 and 1987.

In addition to developing our own games, another mainstay was the production and distribution of titles; this was done together with the sister company Duplidata . The clients included Ocean Software , Electronic Arts and Firebird Software .

There is no connection between the Sinclairs from IJK Software and Sir Clive Sinclair (from Sinclair Research).
