The Iveco X-Way is a truck from the Italian commercial vehicle manufacturer Iveco , which is a mixture of construction site truck and long-distance truck .

concept

According to Iveco, the X-Way should close the gap between construction site trucks and road-bound trucks, and also have lower maintenance and repair costs than pure construction site vehicles. To achieve this, you can choose between 3 configurations:

  • ON: The driver's cab located close to the ground with a reinforced frame, therefore a smaller angle of approach and departure and less ground clearance
  • ON +: Stronger bumper, higher approach angle and more ground clearance
  • OFF: Higher gradeability, highest angle of approach and departure (> 25 °).

With the X-Way you can choose between different front and rear axles, shock absorbers made of steel or plastic, frames in 6.7 mm or 7.7 mm thickness, different gearboxes and power take-offs.

Motorization

All engines are 6-cylinder and use an SCR exhaust gas treatment system and meet the EURO 6d emission standard without any EGR .
