Ian Boswell (born February 7, 1991 in Bend ) is an American cyclist .
In 2006 Ian Boswell was third in the US junior road championship , and in 2008 national runner-up in the junior individual time trial . In 2010 and 2011 he won the Nevada City Classic , in 2010 he was also third on the Tour of Utah , where he also won the junior rider classification.
In 2012, Boswell finished second in Liège – Bastogne – Liège for U23 riders and was fifth in the overall standings of the Tour de l'Avenir and the Tour of Utah . The following year he started the Tour of Austria and was 15th in the overall ranking. In 2015 he started his first big tour, the Vuelta a España , and the following year he won the Vuelta team time trial together with Team Sky . The team also won the Hammer Sportzone Limburg team race in 2017 .
