Ian Harvey (born November 13, 1967 ) is a retired American biathlete .

Ian Harvey was in 1992 part of the US Biathlon team at the Winter Olympics in Albertville , where he, however, did not come as a substitute for use. He was a member of the US national team , especially in the 1993/94 season . He made his international debut at a World Cup singles in Oberhof and was 64. The highlight of the inter- Olympic season was the 1993 World Championships in Borowetz , where Harvey was alongside Curt Schreiner , Dave Jareckie and Erich Wilbrecht16th was. In addition, he came 68th in the sprint and achieved his best international result with 32nd in the individual. At the end of the season he was able to achieve his best result in an individual in Hinton with 52nd place. The attempt to qualify again for the Winter Olympics in Utah in 2002 failed.

In 1992 Harvey met the German biathlete and Olympic champion Antje Misersky , the couple married in 1993 and Misersky competed under her husband's surname until she retired in 1995. The couple have two children and run a sports shop in Heber City . Ian Harvey is a Mormon .
