The Waddams Township is one of 18 townships in Stephenson County in the northwest of the US -amerikanischen state of Illinois .

Waddams Township is located in northwest Illinois, around 10 km south of the Wisconsin border . The Mississippi , which forms the border with Iowa , is about 60 km to the west.
The Waddams Township lies at 42 ° 25'03 "north latitude and 89 ° 45'10" west longitude and extends over an area of 92.71 km². The township is traversed in a north-south direction by the Pecatonica River coming from Wisconsin , a tributary of the Rock River .
Waddams Township is located in the northwest center of Stephenson County. It borders in the northwest on Winslow Township , in the northeast on Oneco Township , in the east on Buckeye Township , in the south on Harlem and Erin Township , in the southwest on Kent Township and in the west on West Point Township .
