Ichiban Records

Ichiban Records was an independent hip hop label founded in 1985 in Atlanta , Georgia . The most important sub-labels were Wrap Records and Nastymix Records, the label Urgent! Records was distributed by Ichiban Records. In addition to hip-hop albums, albums by older, successful blues musicians such as The Legendary Blues Band and Raful Neal have also been released. After the dissolution, EMI took over the catalog, but no albums have been reissued to this day.
