Ictus Ensemble
The Ictus Ensemble (French: Ensemble Ictus ) is a Belgian chamber orchestra that was founded in 1994 by Jean-Luc Plouvier and specializes in contemporary music . The ensemble operates from Brussels , where it presents an annual series of concerts in cooperation with the Filharmonische Vereniging and the Kaaitheater . The ensemble has also performed abroad, especially at relevant festivals such as the Donaueschinger Musiktage or the Wittener Tage für neue Kammermusik , and has presented numerous recordings. He has also undertaken numerous collaborations with the choreographer Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker and has organized the International Composition Seminar every year since 2000, which also takes place in Brussels.
