Dannewitz comes from Vänge in the municipality of Uppsala . At the age of 16 she began to take part in FIS races at the end of November 2015 , initially competing in all disciplines. She achieved her first victory at this level in January 2017, followed two months later by participating in a junior world championship for the first time. At that time she had lived and trained in Malung . Their first use in the European Cup had on 29 November 2017 slalom of Funäsdalen where they took 23rd place in the slalom at once in the points. Her first podium finish in a European Cup race was achieved on December 7, 2018 with second place in the combination of Kvitfjell . She was invited to the 2019 World Cup in Åre , where 26th place in the Super-G was her best result. At the following World Cup in 2019 in Val di Fassa , she won the bronze medal in combination.
At the beginning of the 2019/20 European Cup season, Dannewitz finished second twice. On December 10, 2019, she achieved her first European Cup victory in the Super-G in St. Moritz . Four days later, she also made her World Cup debut in St. Moritz . There she won her first World Cup points straight away with 23rd place in the Super-G. Her best result so far is ninth place in the Altenmarkt combination on January 12, 2020.
