Idalmis Bonne

Idalmis Bonne ( Idalmis Bonne Rousseaux; born February 2, 1971 in Niceto Pérez ) is a former Cuban sprinter .

In 1991 she was eighth over 100 m and fourth over 200 m at the Pan American Games in Havana and won silver in the 4-by-100-meter relay .

In 1992 she won silver over 200 m at the Ibero-American Championships. At the Olympic Games in Barcelona , she was part of the Cuban quartet that did not finish in the final of the 4 x 100 meter relay.

At the Athletics World Cup in London in 1994 , she was third in the 4 x 400 meter relay . In 1995 she won the Pan American Games in Mar del Plata with the Cuban 4 x 400 meter relay. At the World Championships in Gothenburg she was eliminated over 400 m in the preliminary run and came in sixth place with the 4 x 400 meter relay.

In 1996 she won silver at the Ibero-American Championships over 200 m and finished sixth at the Olympic Games in Atlanta with the 4 x 400 meter relay.

In 1997 she won bronze over 400 m at the Universiade . With the Cuban 4 x 400 meter relay, she defended the title at the Pan American Games in Winnipeg in 1999 and finished seventh at the World Cup in Seville . At the Olympic Games in Sydney in 2000, she came in eighth place in the 4 x 400 meter relay.
