Ignacio Milam Tang

Ignacio Milam Tang (born June 20, 1940 in Evinayong , Spanish Guinea ) is an Equatorial Guinean politician of the PDGE . He was Prime Minister of Equatorial Guinea from July 8, 2008 to May 21, 2012, replacing Ricardo Mangue Obama Nfubea .

Life

Milam Tang, a member of the Fang , held various ministerial positions from 1996 to 1999. He was then second Vice-President of Parliament, then Deputy Prime Minister. From 2003 to 2006 he was Minister of State and Secretary General of the President, then from 2006 to 2008 Ambassador to Spain . On July 8, 2008, he took over the office of Prime Minister.

From 2012 to 2016 Milam Tang was the first Vice President and thus Deputy President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo .
