Ignacio Nazareno Trejos Picado (born July 31, 1928 in Guadalupe de Cartago ) is former bishop of San Isidro de El General .

Life

Ignacio Nazareno Trejos Picado was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of San José de Costa Rica on March 8, 1952 .

Pope Paul VI appointed him on January 5, 1968 auxiliary bishop in San José de Costa Rica and titular bishop of Aquae Albae in Mauretania . The apostolic nuncio in Costa Rica Paolino Limongi consecrated him on March 8 of the same year as bishop ; Co- consecrators were Enrique Bolaños Quesada , auxiliary bishop in Alajuela , and Delfín Quesada Castro , bishop of San Isidro de El General .

On December 19, 1974, he was appointed Bishop of San Isidro de El General . On July 31, 2003, Pope John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation.
