Paolino Limongi

Paolino Limongi (born December 2, 1914 in Bellona , Caserta province , Italy , † December 5, 1996 ) was a Roman Catholic Archbishop and Vatican diplomat .

Life

Paolino Limongi received on 18 July 1937, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On August 15, 1963, Pope Paul VI appointed him . the titular archbishop of Nicaea Parva and ordered him to Apostolic Nuncio in Costa Rica . Paul VI donated him episcopal ordination on October 20 of the same year ; Co-consecrators were the secretary of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples , Archbishop Pietro Sigismondi , and Archbishop Sergio Pignedoli .

On July 9, 1969, Paolino Limongi became Apostolic Pro-Nuncio in Iran . In March 1971 Limongi resigned as pro-nuncio in Iran.

Paolino Limongi attended the second, third and fourth sessions of the Second Vatican Council .
