Ignat Sergejewitsch Semchenko ( Russian Игнат Сергеевич Земченко ; born April 24, 1992 in Angarsk ) is a Russian ice hockey player who has been under contract with Metallurg Novokuznetsk in the Vysschaya Hockey League again since 2018 .
Career
Ignat Semchenko began his career as an ice hockey player in the youth department of the PHK Krylja Sowetow Moscow , in which he was active until 2009. He was then selected in the first round in the KHL Junior Draft 2009 as the tenth player by Severstal Tscherepowez . For the professional team of Sewerstal he made his debut in the Continental Hockey League in the 2009/10 season . In this he came only to one use and spent the entire remaining season with the junior team Almas Tscherepowez in the multinational youth league Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja Liga . In the following two years he also played for Severstal in the KHL and Almas in the MHL. In the 2010/11 season he took part in the MHL's All-Star Game.
Shortly after the start of the 2015/16 season, it was given to Metallurg Novokuznetsk in exchange for Roman Berdnikow and Sergei Dorofejew .
At the beginning of the 2017/18 season he was under contract with HK Sibir Novosibirsk , but moved back to Severstal in October 2017 - against payment of financial compensation.
