Ignatius D'Cunha

Ignatius D'Cunha (born February 1, 1924 in Vasai , Bombay [now Maharashtra ], † October 11, 2007 ibid) was Bishop of Aurangabad in India .

Life

Ignatius D'Cunha was ordained a priest on March 7, 1955. In 1989, Pope John Paul II appointed him second bishop of the diocese of Aurangabad , founded in 1977 . The episcopal ordination received his Simon Ignatius Pimenta Cardinal . In 1998 John Paul II granted his resignation.
