Ignaz Agricola
Ignaz Agricola (born July 31, 1661 in Zusamaltheim , † January 23, 1729 in Munich ) was a German historian , philosopher, theologian and Jesuit .
Life
On September 28, 1677 Agricola entered the Jesuit order . On February 2, 1695, he took the three religious vows. For three years he studied there philosophy and four years of theology . He then taught grammar in the order for two years , taught poetics for two years , taught rhetoric for another seven years and logic for two years . Ignaz Agricola was probably also active in Munich ; There he was in 1719 President of the Sodalitas major of the Marian civil modality .
