Slujew started internationally for the first time in January 2015 at the European Olympic Winter Youth Festival in Schruns . There he finished 33rd in snowboard cross. In January 2017, he took part in the European Cup in Gerlitzen for the first time, finishing 17th and eighth in the parallel giant slalom. At the 2017 Junior World Championships in Klínovec , he came 45th in the parallel giant slalom and 32nd in the parallel slalom, and at the 2018 Junior World Championships in Cardrona, he came 11th in the parallel slalom and eighth in the parallel giant slalom. In the 2018/19 season he achieved five top ten placements, including third and first place in the parallel giant slalom in Lachtal , and third place in the parallel giant slalom classification of the European Cup. He made his debut in the Snowboard World Cup in December 2018 in Carezza , which he finished in 21st place in the parallel giant slalom. At the 2019 Junior World Championships in Rogla , he was tenth in the parallel slalom and ninth in the parallel giant slalom. The following season he was in the top ten three times in the World Cup. He reached in Cortina d'Ampezzo with third place in the parallel giant slalom, his first podium in the World Cup and at the end of the season, 15th place in the parallel World Cup and eighth place in the parallel giant slalom World Cup.
