Igor Jurjewitsch Ignatuschkin ( Russian Игорь Юрьевич Игнатушкин ; born April 7, 1984 in Elektrostal , Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who has been under contract with HK Ryazan from the Vysschaja Hockey League since 2018 .

Igor Ignatuschkin began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of Elemasch Elektrostal (from 2003 Kristall Elektrostal), for which he was active from 2001 to 2007 in the Wysschaja Liga , the second Russian division. During this period, the attacker was NHL Entry Draft in 2003 in the eighth round as a total of 242 players from the Washington Capitals selected for which he, however, never played and ran in 2005 in parallel for Elektronals League rivals Neftjanik Leninogorsk and Chimik Moskovskaya Oblast in the Super League on .
For the 2007/08 season Ignatuschkin received a contract with Amur Khabarovsk from the Super League. Before the following season , Amur was accepted into the newly founded Continental Hockey League , in which Ignatuschkin was active for the club until 2012. In May 2012 he moved to Atlant Mytishchi within the KHL and scored 20 scorer points for the club in 50 KHL games. At the beginning of the following season he was initially under contract with Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod . In mid-September 2013 he moved to HK Sibir Novosibirsk without having played a competitive game for Torpedo . He then played 58 KHL games for Sibir before moving to the newly founded HK Sotschi in May 2014 .
International
For Russia Ignatuschkin took part in the U18 World Junior Championship in 2002 . In this he scored two goals in eight games. With nine assists he was also the best assists in the tournament.
