Igor Selenkow ( Russian Игорь Зеленков ; born November 5, 1978 in Alma-Ata ) is a former Kazakh biathlete .

Igor Selenkow made his debut in Ruhpolding in 2000 in the biathlon world cup and was 95 in her first sprint race. At the end of the season, the Kazakh reached his best result in a world cup race with a 73rd place in the sprint of Khanty-Mansiysk . In the three following seasons Selenkow started regularly in the World Cup, but without achieving any results worth mentioning. The first highlight was the 2003 Winter Asian Games in Aomori , where he finished eleventh in the sprint, ninth in the pursuit and fourth in the relay. This was followed by participation in the Biathlon World Championships 2003 in Khanty-Mansiysk, where Selenkov was used in the individual and achieved his best result in the World Cup with 79th place. In 2004 in Oberhof we added 80th place in the individual and 94th place in the sprint. In 2005 he started at two international championships. At the European Championships in Novosibirsk he reached positions 19 in the individual, 29 in the sprint and 23 in the pursuit race. This was followed by the world championship in Hochfilzen , where Selenkow was 94th of the individual, finished 91st in the sprint and with Alexander Tscherwjakow , Vladimir Satula and Andrei Khramuschin was 21st in the relay race. The Kazakhs competed in his last international race in 2005 in the Biathlon European Cup .
