Igor Tomašić (born December 14, 1976 in Kutina , Yugoslavia ) is a former Bulgarian football player of Croatian descent. The defender played a total of 343 games in the Croatian 1st HNL , the Dutch Eredivisie , the Belgian Pro League , the Israeli Ligat ha'Al , the Bulgarian A Grupa , the Greek Super League and the Cypriot First Division . In 1997 he won the Croatian championship with Croatia Zagreb , and in 2006 and 2007 the Bulgarian championship with Levski Sofia .
Career
His first club was Moslavina Kutina . Later he came to the Croatian top club Croatia Zagreb . Between 1997 and 2005 he played for several clubs in Belgium, the Netherlands and Israel before joining Levski Sofia in Bulgaria . He played for Levski between 2005 and 2008 and made 130 league appearances. He also played with Levski in the Champions League and in the UEFA CUP. On May 19, 2008 it was announced that he was leaving Levski for free and moving to Maccabi Tel Aviv in Israel . After two years, he moved to AO Kavala in Greece in summer 2010 , before moving to Anorthosis Famagusta in Cyprus in summer 2011 . He ended his career there in 2012.

In 2006 he decided to play for Bulgaria and made his first international match against Wales, since then he has played 16 internationals (no goal).
