Ikenhausen is a district of Willebadessen in the district of Höxter , North Rhine-Westphalia . The first documentary mention was in 1120. Until it was incorporated into Willebadessen on January 1, 1975, Ikenhausen was an independent municipality in the Peckelsheim district .

Buildings

The Chapel of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary was built in 1736 in half-timbered construction. After a fire, it was torn down in 1911 and replaced by a new building made of rubble with a roof turret.
