Starting in the north, the offices of Dringenberg-Gehrden , Borgentreich and Warburg-Land (Warburg district) and the Büren district bordered the office in a clockwise direction . The community of Fölsen enclosed a small exclave of the city of Willebadessen (Dringenberg-Gehrden).
history
The Peckelsheim office was founded in 1843 and existed until 1974. Due to Section 32 of the Sauerland / Paderborn Act of November 5, 1974, the municipalities of the office with the municipalities of Altenheerse and Willebadessen of the Dringenberg-Gehrden office joined the new city on January 1, 1975 Will bathing together. The offices of Peckelsheim and Dringenberg-Gehrden were dissolved. The city of Willebadessen is the legal successor to both offices.
