The Borgentreich office was an office in the East Westphalian district of Warburg in North Rhine-Westphalia that existed until 1974 . Its direct predecessor was the Borgholz office founded in 1843 .
Borgholz Office
As part of the introduction of the rural community order for the province of Westphalia, the Borgholz office was established in the Warburg district in 1843. The office initially included the city of Borgholz and the communities of Bühne , Daseburg , Großeneder , Körbecke , Lütgeneder , Manrode , Muddenhagen , Natzungen and Rösebeck . In the 1850s, the communities of Natingen came from the Gehrden office and Drankhausen from the Peckelsheim office to the Borgholz office. On April 1, 1937, the city of Borgentreich was incorporated into the Borgholz office, which was also renamed the Borgentreich office .
Organization and population
Since 1937, the Borgentreich office has been divided into the 13 communities Borgentreich , Borgholz , Bühne , Daseburg , Drankhausen , Großeneder , Körbecke , Lütgeneder , Manrode , Muddenhagen , Natingen , Natzungen and Rösebeck , of which Borgentreich and Borgholz had city rights and the former was also the administrative seat .
In the last census before the dissolution of the office in mid-1970, the municipalities of the Borgentreich office had a resident population of 10,853. With an area of 154.17 km² results in an average population density of 70 inhabitants per square kilometer, which was below the district average of 88 inhabitants per square kilometer. This made the office the largest in the district and at the same time the one with the second highest population density.
