Großeneder is a district of Borgentreich in the district of Höxter , North Rhine-Westphalia ( Germany ).

The place lies in the Warburger Börde , southwest of the central place. The federal highway 241 runs south of Großeneder . The Eder (Eggel) flows through the village .
history
Großeneder was first mentioned in a document in 887 . The origin of the place is said to be a royal court of Charlemagne, which he is said to have given to one of his officials. On January 1, 1975, Großeneder came to the city of Borgentreich on the basis of the Paderborn Act . In 2012, the 1125th anniversary of the first mention of the place was celebrated.
