Ikerasak [ iˈkɜʁasak ] (according to the old spelling Ikerasak ) is a deserted Greenlandic settlement in the district of Sisimiut in Qeqqata Kommunia .

Ikerasak is located in the southeast of the island of Maniitsorsuaq right in front of a small island called Qeqertannguaq Kangilleq . Ikerasak is located twelve kilometers southeast of Sisimiut .
history
Ikerasak was settled in the 1920s, the exact year being unknown. In 1930 48 people lived at the residential area. In 1931 a school chapel was built and in 1932 a 96 m² fish house. During the 1940s the population increased slightly to 56 people. 1955 Ikerasak was given up.
