The Iksa ( Russian И́кса ) is a right tributary of the Tschaja in the Russian oblasts of Tomsk and Novosibirsk in western Siberia .
The Iksa rises in the Wassjuganje on the border of the two oblasts of Novosibirsk and Tomsk . It initially flows along the border in an easterly direction. Later she turns north. It has a strongly meandering course. At Podgornoje it finally flows into the Chaya Ob tributary on the right . The river is fed by the snowmelt. Between May and August it leads to floods . The lower course of the river is floodable. The Iksa has a length of 430 km. Its catchment area covers 6130 km². The mean discharge at the Vostochnoye gauge 40 km above the mouth is 21 m³ / s.
