Ildiko Imamura

Ildiko Imamura - birth name Bolvari - (born December 3, 1963 ) is a Hungarian table tennis player . In 1988 she was a member of the DSC Kaiserberg championship team .

Career

Ildiko Bolvari has been nominated seven times for European Youth Championships. In 1978 and 1979 she reached the double final with the Yugoslavian Gordana Perkučin . At the national Hungarian championships for adults, she and Ilona Balogh won the doubles title six times (1979-1983 and 1987).

In 1987 she joined the Duisburg Bundesliga club DSC Kaiserberg . With the women's team she became German champion in 1988. In 1990 she moved to Weiß-Rot-Weiß Kleve (2nd Bundesliga), and in 1995 she returned to DSC Kaiserberg. From 1997 to 1999 she played for TuS Bad Driburg , from 1999 at SC Bayer 05 Uerdingen (Regionalliga), since 2009 together with her daughter Yuko Imamura at TuS Uentrop (2nd Bundesliga) and since 2012 again at Weiß-Rot-Weiß Kleve.

In September 2016, Ildiko Imamura started working as educational director at the German Table Tennis Center in Düsseldorf.

Private

In the mid-1990s, Ildiko Bolvari married Taisei Imamura, the boss of Butterfly Tamusu Europa . Her daughter Yuko (born August 17, 1995) also played with Kleve in the 2nd Bundesliga, she was German champion in youth doubles in 2011 and 2013, and in 2015 she won the national ranking tournament for adults. Since 2017 she has been playing with the 2nd men's team of the TTC BW Brühl-Vochem in the association league.
