Ileana D'Cruz
Ileana D'Cruz (born November 1, 1987 in Mumbai ) is an Indian actress who appears mostly in Telugu and Hindi films .
Life
D'Cruz spent part of her childhood in Goa . She is the second of four children from Ronaldo and Samira D'Cruz. A manager of the hotel where Ileana's mother worked suggested that Ileana should model because she has a beautiful face. In the course of photo shoots, she met the director Rakesh Roshan , who made her way into the film industry possible.
She made her debut in 2006 in the Telugu film Devdasu , for which she previously took acting classes . Her performance earned her the Best Debutante Award at the Filmfare Awards South . In the same year she made her debut in the Tamil film industry in Jyothi Krishna's Kedi . In 2008 she appeared in Trivikram Srinivas ' Jalsa , for which she was the first choice for the role of Bhagyamathi. In the love comedy Barfi! , a film with Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra , she played the lead role of Shruti Ghosh and won the award for best female debut at the North Indian Filmfare Awards . In addition, she played 2014 in the movie Main Tera Hero alongside Varun Dhawan and Nargis Fakhri . In the same year she starred in Happy Ending with Saif Ali Khan .
