Life
Golossow was born into a priestly family in 1883.
He attended the Stroganow Art and Technology School in Moscow and then the School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture, also in Moscow. In 1912 he left the latter as an architect.
1912-13 he built villas in Kirschatsch and Moscow . After the October Revolution he taught at the Moscow Polytechnic Institute and at the WChUTEMAS . In the first years after the revolution he built in a classical style, but changed his style to symbolic romanticism, which is also due to the influence of Boris Korolev .
In December 1919 he founded with the members Koroljow, Ladowski and Iszelenow der Schiwskulptarch a sculptor's workshop at the second SGChM (Free Art Workshops). Later he ran a workshop at WChUTEMAS with Konstantin Melnikow .
From 1933 he headed one of the architecture workshops of the Mossoviet (Moscow Soviet ). In the thirties he turned to more and more classic and traditional forms.
