The Illinois State Route 32 (in short IL 32 ) is a state highway in the US state of Illinois , the North-South direction runs in.

The State Route begins on US Highway 40 and Illinois State Route 33 in Effingham and ends 112 kilometers in Cisco on Illinois State Route 48 .

Illinois State Route 32 leaves the city of Effingham together with State Route 33 in a northerly direction and meets the route of Interstates 57 and 70 on the northwestern outskirts of the city . The IL 32 separates from the IL 33 near Shumway , and south of Windsor it uses the Illinois State Route 16 for a few kilometers . To the south of Sullivan it crosses the foothills of Lake Shelbyville , and to the west of the city it overlaps with State Route 121 for about three miles .

In Lovington , Illinois State Route 133 branches off to the east, and north of Lake City it joins US Highway 36 . South of Cerro Gordo , it splits ten kilometers along the route with State Route 105 , before ending west of Cisco on Illinois State Route 48.
