Ilmārs Bricis (born July 9, 1970 in Riga ) is a Latvian biathlete .

Bricis, who lives in Cēsis, started biathlon in 1978. He has been part of the Latvian national team since 1990. Bricis won bronze over 20 km at the 2001 World Cup in Pokljuka and bronze over 10 km at the 2005 World Cup in Hochfilzen . He took part in six Olympic Games, his best result being fourth in 2006 in Turin in the 12.5 km pursuit. At the end of the 09/10 season Bricis had resigned, but at the beginning of the 2010/2011 season he competed in the singles in Östersund and was 27. A week earlier he had won a sprint race at the IBU Cup in Beitostølen , his first win in an international one Competition. For the 2016/17 season , he returned to the IBU Cup in Beitostølen. A week later he celebrated his comeback in the World Cup in Östersund, Sweden, with a 63rd place in the individual.

Ilmārs Bricis is a police officer . He is married to biathlete Andžela Brice and has a daughter, cross-country skier Anete Brice .
