Anete Brice (born November 13, 1991 in Riga ) is a Latvian biathlete and cross-country skier .

Anete Brice is the daughter of Ilmārs Bricis and Andžela Brice . She starts for the Cesis ski club and made her debut in the IBU Cup at the start of the 2008/09 season in Idre . In her first sprint she was 75. Her best result in the racing series she achieved so far with a 48th place in a sprint race at the start of the 2010/11 season in Beitostølen . The first major event was the 2010 European Biathlon Championships in Otepääwhere Brice competed in the junior races. In the individual, she finished 44th and was 12th with the mixed relay. Later in the year, the Latvian started in Duszniki-Zdrój in the junior races of the Summer Biathlon World Championships 2010 and was ninth in the relay. At the Biathlon Junior World Championships 2011 in Nové Město na Moravě , she finished 58th in the individual, 30 in the sprint, 44 in the pursuit and 18 with the relay. Shortly thereafter, she joined Ridnaun also in the junior race in the Biathlon European Championships , where she was 38th of the function SINGLE and 51 of the sprint. The highlight of the season was the 2011 Biathlon World Championships in Khanty-Mansiysk , where Brice was 92nd in the individual and 101st in the sprint race. The fourth major event of the year was the junior races of the Summer Biathlon World Championships 2011 in Nove Mesto, where the Latvian finished 43rd in the sprint and could not finish the race as a lapped runner in the pursuit. At the start of the 2011/12 season , she made her World Cup debut in Östersund , apart from her World Cup races. In the individual, she took 83rd place.

In cross-country skiing, she has competed in international races since 2006, initially in lower-class FIS racing series and in the Scandinavian Cup . At the Junior World Championships in Malles in 2008 , she came 69th in the freestyle mass start, was 74th over 5 km classic and was 72nd in the freestyle sprint. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Liberec in 2009 she was 78th in the freestyle sprint. This was followed by a 69th place over 5 km classic at the Junior World Championships in Hinterzarten . Brice had her last cross-country skiing event at the 2010 Winter Olympics . She finished 69 in the 10km freestyle race at Whistler Olympic Park .
