Ilnyzja (Ukrainian Ільниця ; Russian Ильница / Ilniza , Slovak Ilnice or older Ilnica , Hungarian Ilonca ) is a place in Irschawa Rajon in the Transcarpathian Oblast in western Ukraine .

The place was first mentioned in writing in 1450 as Ilonca, until 1919 the place belonged to the Austro-Hungarian Empire or its entity Hungary , then as part of the Carpathian-Ukraine to Czechoslovakia . With the annexation he came back to Hungary in 1939–1945, from 1946 the place has been part of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic and since 1991 part of Ukraine .

Between 1971 and 1994 the place had the status of an urban-type settlement , but this was revoked on November 29, 1994.

The scattered settlement at the foot of the Carpathian Mountains has a church from 1797, the Ilnichka brook flows through the village.
