Ilse Janz (born April 23, 1945 in Norden ) is a German politician ( SPD ).
biography
education and profession
After attending secondary school, she trained as a lawyer and notary assistant. Later worked for many years in freight forwarding and brokerage firms.
politics
Janz joined the SPD in 1967. 1979–1987 she was a city councilor in Bremerhaven , 1987–1990 a member of the Bremen citizenship .
From 1988 to 1991 state chairwoman of the SPD state association in Bremen , 1993 to 1997 member of the federal executive committee of the SPD.
From 1990 to 2002 she was a member of the German Bundestag as a directly elected member of the constituency Bremerhaven - Bremen-Nord , of which 1993–1998 as a member of the parliamentary group executive , 1998–2002 as parliamentary manager of the SPD parliamentary group. She was also a member of the Budget Committee and the Sports Committee, later the Committee on Consumer Protection, Food and Agriculture, and the Council of Elders .
