Horst Isola

Horst Isola (born July 19, 1939 in Bremen ) is a German politician ( SPD ) and former member of the Bremen citizenship .

biography

education and profession

Isola graduated from high school. After graduating from high school, he trained as a legal clerk. He then worked as a public prosecutor, then press officer and advisor for penal matters to the then Bremen Senator for Justice and the Penal System, Wolfgang Kahrs (SPD). From 1975 to 1979 he was the head of a juvenile detention center. He then served as a Senate Councilor until 1987.

politics

Isola is a member of the SPD. He is assigned to the left wing of the party. As the successor to Ilse Janz, he was state chairman of the SPD Bremen from 1991 to 1992 ; he was followed in 1993 by Konrad Kunick . He was a member of various committees and working groups of his party.

Since 2010 he has been active in the federal government and in Bremen as a spokesman for the group of laicists in the SPD .

From September 13, 1987 to 2003, he was a member of the Bremen Parliament. Here he was active in various deputations and committees.

Since 2018 he has been active in the collection movement stand up .
