Ilse Lind , née Pichler (pseudonym: Ilse von Tasso ; * 1874 ; † September 29, 1955 in Vienna ) was an Austrian actress.
Life
Ilse Lind had her first engagement in 1908 at the Raimund Theater in Vienna . In November 1908 she played for the first time at the New German Theater in New York City , together with her husband Emil Lind (1872–1948). In New York, where she used the pseudonym Ilse van Tasso , she performed several times, but then returned to Germany and played around 1915 at the Schauspielhaus Düsseldorf , where her husband was appointed director. In 1917 both went to Berlin , where she (now as Ilse von Tasso ) could be seen several times in films. In 1933 she emigrated to Vienna.
