A snack stand (also snack bar , Austrian buffet ) is a sales stand for the sale of meals and drinks for consumption between regular main meals (German snack ). Food stalls can be located in buildings or in food trucks . Food stalls are common at major events like folk festivals . Bar tables are the hallmark of a food stand . Cardboard or plastic crockery and larger garbage bins also characterize this type of management.
