Immanuel Gottlob Kober

Immanuel Gottlob Kober (born October 24, 1801 in Tübingen ; † October 8, 1870 in Reutlingen ) was a German lawyer , administrative clerk and senior bailiff , comparable to today's district administrator .

Life

Immanuel Gottlob Kober, the son of a stocking weaver , initially trained as a clerk and studied law and political science at the University of Tübingen from 1822 to 1827 . After the state examination , Kober was appointed chief actuary at the Waiblingen regional office in 1829 and an actuary in 1830, and in 1832 chief police commissioner at the Stuttgart city ​​office . In 1834 Kober was dismissed from this office at his request and went to the Katharinenhospital in Stuttgart as administrator . In 1838 he was briefly senior official at the Marbach District Office . In the same year he became chief administrator at Neckarsulm , where he was promoted to chief administrator in 1841. In 1844, Kober was transferred to the Urach Regional Office in the same position , where he was transferred to the position of an expeditor or government secretary with the title of Chief Official in the Black Forest District in Reutlingen in 1856 due to a lack of administration . He held this office until 1870. Immanuel Gottlob Kober died on October 8, 1870.

In 1842 Kober became a knight of the Grand Ducal Hessian Order of Merit of Philip the Magnanimous .
