content

As a young child, Kotoko Iwanaga was kidnapped by Yōkai and was supposed to become the goddess of wisdom among demons. In doing so, she lost her right eye and left leg, but was finally able to get on with her life. But as a mediator between the world of humans and demons, she now has to settle disputes among the yōkai. Years later, the student meets Kuro Sakuragawa at the hospital and quickly falls in love with him. Kuro's possessive girlfriend stands in the way. But after meeting a kappa , she leaves Kuro. For him and Kotoko this is the opportunity to get closer.

Kotoko soon realizes that Kuro has a special charisma that scares all yōkai around him. As a small child he was given the meat of a mermaid ( ningyo ) and a yōkai, which is why all demons fear him now.
